Busy Week For Collegeville Fire Fighters

Collegeville Fire Fighters have seen a busy week. 

Monday,  May 5, 200819:55 Hours Automatic fire alarm 201 2nd Avenue, Block Buster Video.
Tuesday,  May 6, 200817:49 Hours  Reported brush fire Monroe Muffle 20 E.1st Ave.  Was subject doing burn outs with a car.
Wednesday, May 7, 200806:44 Hours  Vehicle Rescue Upper Providence Twp. Longford & Egypts Roads.

Oaks, Upper Providence Twp Vehicle Rescue

At 06:44 Hours Units were dispatched to a reported vehicle rescue at Longford and Egypt Roads in the Oaks section ofUpper Providence Township.  Assistant 63-3 on scene reported entrappment in 2 vehicles and placed a helo on stand by.  First vehicle Silver Hyundai had one female entrapped and the second vehicle a BMW had one Male entrapped.  Upon arrival of EMS, crews worked on patient  asssement and stabilization and rescue crews went to work stabilizing the vehicles.  The door on the Hyundai was opened and the female victim was removed and transported to an LZ at Oaks Fire Station on Green Tree Road.  Crews then worked on the BMW and removed the roof and drivers side door, the male victim was the removed from the vehicle and transported the LZ at Oaks Fire Staiton.  All units cleared at 08:00 Hours

 Units on scene:  EMS 322, Chester 367, Squad 63, Tac 63, Rescue 34, UPT Police, Fire Police from 34, 63, 55, 53

Units at LZ: Engine 55 Med3, Pennstar 6
